Maria is a member of the Indianapolis Holistic Hub and is Insured through the Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

I am a graduate of Indiana University/Purdue University in Indianapolis with a degree in Biology. I went on to attend the School of Public & Environmental Affairs at Indiana University- Bloomington and hold two Master’s degrees.  I graduated from Indiana Therapeutic Massage School (a 600 hour massage therapy certification) and am Indiana State Certified as a Massage Therapist.

I have taken numerous advanced trainings in the areas of Herbalism, Folk Medicine & Traditional Healing Techniques. Over the years I have engaged in training adventures that led me to New Mexico, Texas, New Hampshire, Ohio, Belize, a pilgrimage to Isla Mujeres, Mexico, and to the Mayan Ruins in Cozumel. This work is my passion and I continue to take advanced studies, receive mentorship in my field and grow through each session.

A few of the Advanced training includes:

  • Professional Practitioner of Maya Abdominal Massage Therapy

  • 200+ hours of Herbal Studies from a variety of Western Clinical, European and Folk Herbalists

  • Several Massage Cupping Certifications & Trainings

  • Flower Essences for Bodywork & Women’s Health

  • Numerous ongoing Apprenticeships and Mentorships in bodywork, traditional healing and ethics
